artist Wu Meng. To be as another tactile appeal, this static exhibition is the
important part of the project which has been progressing for a year. At the end
of 30 minutes in specific time during exhibition, Sounds are regarded as the
mainly performance media. The involved audiences will not to be as passive
viewers. People share secrets and step into another dimension world to figure
it out what is the possibility to practice with artist together, which the
experience of sensory organs are highly active in there. This complete project
will provide the multiply connection between the experimental of artist works
with social issues.
Outdoors performance, Wu Meng will take the audiences to walk a long way. These streets, ruins, roads, squares craved with time sometimes like cecum or blood capillaries, sometimes like pickled sewage or new make-up face after cosmetic surgery. We have to admire this is our body. This city we are living in. It constructs our daily life with its useless, subtlety, ugliness and freshness. But the artist performance is to experience the inside of organs of this city. To re-breathe, re-smell, re-touch, re-taste….Our life.
In The Journey of Sounds, the memory, the oblivion, human feelings, and the stories of this slaughter house, what do these signs mean to visitors? How can we explore the reality of history about this legacy?
